Chuanghui Has Been Invited to Participate in The China-Uzbekistan Local Cooperation Forum

On January 22nd, under the theme of "Deepening Pragmatic Cooperation for Common Prosperity," the China-Uzbekistan Local Cooperation Forum was held in Urumqi. Shandong Chuanghui was invited to participate, bringing together guests from China and Uzbekistan at the foothills of Tian Shan to seek cooperation and promote development.


Prior to the opening ceremony, Ma Xingrui, the Secretary of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Party Committee, Hozaev, the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, and Erken Tuniyaz, the Deputy Secretary of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Party Committee and Chairman of the Region, together with some Chinese and foreign guests, conducted a tour. Erken Tuniyaz presided over the opening ceremony of the forum. Li Hui, the Special Representative of the Chinese Government for Eurasian Affairs, and Usmonov, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.


During the cooperation forum, China and Uzbekistan signed 20 cooperation agreements. Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region established friendly provincial-level relations with Samarkand Province and Tashkent Province in Uzbekistan, and reached an intention for friendly relations with Andijan Province. Relevant cities and corps in the autonomous region, as well as relevant departments, parks, universities, and others, signed cooperation documents with the Uzbek side.


The hosting of the first China-Uzbekistan Local Cooperation Forum in Xinjiang, China, fully reflects the high importance attached by the leaders of the two countries to China-Uzbekistan relations. It will inject new vitality and expand new space for deepening cooperation between the localities of the two countries. Chuanghui is willing to take this forum as an opportunity to earnestly implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries, implement the results of the China-Central Asia summit and the 3rd Belt and Road Initiative International Cooperation Summit, strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Uzbekistan at the local level, and work together to contribute more local strength to the creation of a new chapter of win-win cooperation between China and Uzbekistan.
